In due course, with an uncle's help, he becomes an attorney. marrying Luisa. oldest child in a large Roman Catholic family, and her adjustment to being wife of a prominent attorney in Kingston. Then their oldest child, Eve, who grows up with the background of World War 11 as it was experienced in Colonial Jamaica. Her meeting and marrying Howard,an airline mechanic, an American, her move to Miami and her adjustment to very different lifestyle and now she accomplishes it. And of her continuing wish to become a writer - and how she finally achieves this.Descriptions of the people, personalities, events and scenery are excellent.
